This was a really entertaining read， perfect when you're in the mood for something lighthearted and fun！ I'm not going to lie， I was initially drawn in by the cover and definitely expected something along the lines of a second chance romance， but I was not prepared for how amusing the storyline would be。 Joel and Amy， exes who'd gone through a nasty divorce and had subsequently found new partners， coincidentally find themselves on the same tiny island while on holiday。 I found the beginning to b This was a really entertaining read， perfect when you're in the mood for something lighthearted and fun！ I'm not going to lie， I was initially drawn in by the cover and definitely expected something along the lines of a second chance romance， but I was not prepared for how amusing the storyline would be。 Joel and Amy， exes who'd gone through a nasty divorce and had subsequently found new partners， coincidentally find themselves on the same tiny island while on holiday。 I found the beginning to be a bit slow， and their prank war a bit childish， however， the second half of the book definitely made up for the pacing in the end。 I found both main characters kind of。。。 shallow？ I'm not entirely sure how to describe it （or if there even is a word to collectively describe it）， but they weren't my favourite people but they managed to somewhat redeem themselves towards the end。 I really loved Ray， Amy's fiance。 He was definitely one of the more likeable， open-minded characters who provided clarity for Amy throughout the book。 In saying that， Cara， Joel's fiance， wasn't my cup of tea。 I think this book was perfect for anyone who loves one-liners and witty dialogue。 If you're after a romcom that doesn't necessarily end in a HEA， you'll enjoy it！ Special thanks to NetGalley and Lake Union Publishing for the ARC！ 。。。more

Great story and one of Nick’s best。 Who has not wanted to show up with a new and lovely significant other when meeting your ex？ Of course when you have not gotten over your ex and still hate the ground they walk on it is a little more difficult。 The tale ostensibly takes two warring former lovers and puts them on the same vacation with the new significant others and same hatred of each other。 It them moves into fresh and original （ and hilarious） territory when the try to outdo each other。 Even Great story and one of Nick’s best。 Who has not wanted to show up with a new and lovely significant other when meeting your ex？ Of course when you have not gotten over your ex and still hate the ground they walk on it is a little more difficult。 The tale ostensibly takes two warring former lovers and puts them on the same vacation with the new significant others and same hatred of each other。 It them moves into fresh and original （ and hilarious） territory when the try to outdo each other。 Even the ending is fresh and unexpected and somehow quite fitting。 Well done。 。。。more

Nick Spalding has had me in tears again！ Though the premise of this story isn’t original， it’s told in such an amazing way。 You can see it playing out as you read。 I highly recommend this book and any of the other hilariously humorous book by Mr。 Spalding。

Just finished this book first book I’ve read by this author。Joel and Amy once married but 2 years divorced at the same airport not unusual）on the same flight both with new partners then the holiday begins。 This book made me cry laughing 😂 a really good easy read enjoy xx👍

Very well written， intriguing story。 Seems petty at times， but who hasn’t ended a ‘bad’ relationship and wasn’t petty？ Weird turn of events that just keep getting weirder and stranger。 Unexpected （？） ending， not sure， you tell me。 I would love to go to the Maldives， though。 The descriptions are entrancing and made me envious。

I did not have a horrendous divorce - so 20 years down the line I am devastated to find that my ex hates me， says increasingly dreadful things about me， and would apparently love to destroy me if he could。 Indeed， he has done terrible damage to our family。So， despite finding all Nick Spalding's books balm for the soul， in a belly laugh， side splitting way， I almost didn't read this one。However， nothing ventured， nothing gained！So I read about two people who probably should never have got married I did not have a horrendous divorce - so 20 years down the line I am devastated to find that my ex hates me， says increasingly dreadful things about me， and would apparently love to destroy me if he could。 Indeed， he has done terrible damage to our family。So， despite finding all Nick Spalding's books balm for the soul， in a belly laugh， side splitting way， I almost didn't read this one。However， nothing ventured， nothing gained！So I read about two people who probably should never have got married， who suffered from the typical human condition of not being able to see the other person's point of view， and who wanted， variously， revenge， apologies， repentance， admission of guilt， righteousness - but never in tune。 So of course， in typical Spalding fashion， farce developed。My stepson served many years as front of house manager in a five star hotel - believe me， the staff are not naturally long suffering; they are utterly professional and have seen it all before more times than you could imagine！ They know all the permutations of what is likely to happen next and are laughing up their sleeves。 Like straight men， they are the perfect humorous foil。 Each time the manager approached， I was already in hysterics。I laughed until I cried， and I cried until I laughed。 In all honesty， this book has done me as much good as several， painful， therapy sessions - and it didn't hurt a bit！ 。。。more

Review of You Again？ by Nick SpaldingThis is the story of divorced couple Amy and Joel who had the perfect honeymoon in the Maldives， followed by a less than perfect marriage。 They both end up back at the same place with new partners at the same time a couple of years post divorce。 I enjoyed this book， the characters were interesting and it had some nice laugh out loud moments。 Recommend

DNF。 I stopped reading at the 40 percent mark。 There are some genuine chuckles in this novel， in which Amy and Joel meet up eight years after their honeymoon in the Maldives after a nasty divorce and with their new partners。 I can imagine how awkward it would be to be on a small island with my ex after our venom-filled divorce， but we’d probably just shoot each other some nasty glances and do our best to avoid each other。 The silly antics these alleged adults got up to as a means of exacting rev DNF。 I stopped reading at the 40 percent mark。 There are some genuine chuckles in this novel， in which Amy and Joel meet up eight years after their honeymoon in the Maldives after a nasty divorce and with their new partners。 I can imagine how awkward it would be to be on a small island with my ex after our venom-filled divorce， but we’d probably just shoot each other some nasty glances and do our best to avoid each other。 The silly antics these alleged adults got up to as a means of exacting revenge on one another simply strained credulity and I couldn’t finish。 That's the challenge of writing comedy。Thanks for NetGalley for the opportunity to review this novel。 。。。more
